Such a fun place to camp, hike, fish, boat. If you're going on a weekend, you might want to call to reserve a camp site. It can get booked up. Have fun!
Well worth the drive from Salem, the water lives up to the name, it is crystal clear. Don't expect to do any swimming though, the water remains under 40 degrees at all times. Also don't bring your jet ski, no motorized vehicles are allowed, but that makes for a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. We stayed at the resort on the lake, which I highly recommend.

Beautiful, pristine, truly clear - can see the trees in the water. There's a boat rental which closes at 3 pm or so.
